Thengal Bhavan: The Thengal Bhavan is located around 8kms from Jorhat town is a historical complex, from where the Dainik Batari, first Assamese weekly newspaper was published.

Chandrakanta Handique Bhavan:  It is the headquarters of the Asom Sahitya Sabha.

Tocklai Experimental Station: It is the world’s oldest and largest tea research station in world

Kunwori Pukhuri: It ia also fa famous tourist spot and was built by Parbatiya Kunwori, the granddaughter of Ahom king Sataialia Dilabandha Borgohain. The Pukhuri is located near trunk road in Jorhat.

Purnananda Buragohain Maidan: It is famous historical site Tocklai River banks near the Macharhat Namghar, where Purnananda Buragohain son established the vast kingdom at Macharhat.

Raja Maidam: It is another historical site created to preserve the ashes of king Purandar Sinha..

Garh Ali: It is famous place in Jorhat where a historic embankment was built during the war fought between the Moamarias and the Ahoms.

Magolu Khat: Ahom king Rajeshwar Sinha after marrying Kuranganayani, princess of Manipur in Manaimaji village, established the Mogolus or Manipuris at this place. It is located 4 miles west of the Jorhat town.
